And so, the saga continues for poor Fern (hereon known as PF) and, people, it's not looking good.
It's never really a good sign when you become a laughing stock on your own channel. And lo, such a nadir was reached for PF this morning. On GMTV that total witch Fiona Philips greeted TV 'critic' Richard Arnold with the question, "Where have you been, then? Having a gastric band operation?" My friends, you could practically hear the despairing sob from a certain blond across town float on the wind there.
(Incidentally, Richard's chin was looking suspiciously pointy this morning. I'm just saying.)
Anyway, now that PF is "taking some time off", in the words of the curt ITV press release, poor Philip is flying solo on This Morning. He looks as sad as a three legged dog.
I ask you, has anyone come off well from this sad, sad story? Not a bit of it.
