Absconded teenagers spotted in Tesco as families 'increasingly concerned'

Police have appealed for help in finding two teenagers not seen since Friday evening.

Ellis Clegg and Kaila Allan were last spotted in a Tesco supermarket and now their families are becoming increasingly concerned for their welfare.

A CCTV image of the pair at the Linwood store, 15-year-old Ellis - who is 5ft 11ins, with a slim build, dark brown curly hair and brown eyes - was wearing a green and grey Nike tracksuit.

Kaila, 17, is 5ft 3ins, slim with fair hair and brown eyes and was wearing a black body warmer, tan top, blue jeans, white trainers and was carrying a white handbag.

Ellis is believed to frequent Paisley, Glasgow, Inverness and Liverpool and Kaila Paisley and Greenock.

PC Lewis Dolan from Paisley police station explained: "Police and family members are becoming increasingly concerned for Ellis and Kaila’s wellbeing.

"Ellis and Kaila absconded together and may still be in each other’s company although this is not confirmed, it is believed they may both have travelled to the Greenock area."

Anyone who has seen Ellis or Kaila or has any information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 immediately.
