'About to join WWE' - Liverpool fans in awe again at Fernando Torres' latest body transformation

Fernando Torres might have been retired from football for just over 18 months, but the former Liverpool forward is not standing still when it comes to his fitness and physique.

Liverpool fans were wowed around a month ago when pictures emerged of what Torres looks like these days as the ex-Chelsea and Atletico Madrid man showed off his bulging arms and upper body.

Now, Torres appears to have made even more gains as he was seen posing in a gym wearing a mask.

Wearing some grips on his wrists to help with weightlifting form, Torres has certainly been putting in the work to build muscle and increase his body mass.

"He looks ripped," one Reds supporter said on Twitter.

Another added: "He was always big and well built at Liverpool but this is even bigger."

While a third suggested he was targeting a new sport, with: "Torres looks like he’s about to join WWE."

Several other comments also suggested he should re-sign for Liverpool and help ease the club's centre-back injury crisis.

Torres spent four seasons at Liverpool, scoring 81 goals in more than 142 appearances.

He then made a then-record £50m move to Chelsea, where he went on to win the Champions League.
