Aberdeenshire hotel appoints three new senior staff members

An Aberdeenshire hotel has appointed three new senior members of staff as it continues with a six-figure refurbishment plan.

Maryculter House appointed Jocelyn Reid as its new wedding coordinator, Hannah Moir as the new food and beverage manager and Dinali Nadishani as head of housekeeping.

Reid joins Maryculter House from Hilton and Copthorne Hotels, where she gained the majority of her experience.

Moir gained her background experience in the service delivery and training from other local establishments, while Nadishani was part of the team of the Fife Arms in Braemar since its launch in 2018.

The latest phase of the hotel’s refurbishment has included the historic Great Hall, preserving its original features, the entrance area for the hotel’s Templar’s Suite and an additional seven bedrooms.

The full project will see the hotel have all its 40 bedrooms and public areas transformed.

Peter Walker, managing director at Maryculter House, said: “As a family-owned business in the North East, we must continue to build on our offering.

“Investing in our people has always been a priority - I’m extremely passionate about developing the hospitality workforce and in turn the future of our industry.”
