Aberdeen vs Celtic rescheduled for Sky Sports broadcast

Celtic’s midweek trip to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen has been selected for live television coverage, with the Scottish Premiership clash now set for an 8pm kick-off on Wednesday, May 14.

Originally scheduled to start at 7.45pm, the fixture will now be shown live on Sky Sports, as Brendan Rodgers’ champions round off their campaign in front of a national audience.

With the title already secured, Celtic head to the Granite City aiming to maintain momentum ahead of the Scottish Cup final against the same opponents, while Aberdeen will be hoping to give their fans a strong finish in their final home game of the season under new boss Jimmy Thelin.

Aberdeen are still targeting third place, with a 1-0 win over Hibernian last time out meaning there's still plenty to play for. They are now level with the Edinburgh club, albeit with an inferior goal difference.
