Aberdeen v Rangers: East Kilbride referee Bobby Madden given crucial Scottish Premiership opener

East Kilbride referee Bobby Madden will take charge of the season opener as Aberdeen host Rangers.

This will be the first Scottish Premiership game of the season with a 12.30pm set at Pittodrie on Saturday.

Aberdeen's Scott McKenna and Rangers' Alfredo Morelos are both sent off by referee Bobby Madden after a coming together (SNS Group)

The last clash between the pair that Madden took charge of was the 5-0 win for Rangers over the Dons in September.

He also took charge in February 2019 as the Glasgow side ran out 4-2 winners with both Alfredo Morelos and Scott McKenna seeing red.
