Motherwell manager Graham Alexander is hoping to build on the 'top-notch' performance against Rangers last weekend against Aberdeen.
The Steelmen travel to Pittodrie tomorrow after becoming the first side since September to take points off the league leaders last weekend.
The 'Well were excellent during a first-half where they took the lead through Devante Cole before Cedric Itten scored an equaliser after the break but Alexander was impressed with the performance.

He said: “First-half was absolutely first class, I don’t want to say perfect because there are always things to improve on but it was top-notch.
“We knew Rangers would begin to get momentum but I felt that our discipline and approach to the game was really refreshing. I thought that we didn’t take a backwards step until the quality of Rangers showed.
"We were on the front foot for as long as we could be and I felt that over the course of the game we deserved at least what we got, possibly more.
“We won’t always reach those heights but we will always try to. We will always play that type of football and give our players confidence to play.
“We showed that we had different sides to our game last week. When the opposition was on top of us we showed a doggedness and resilient mentality."

Motherwell currently sit in 11th place in the Premiership table above rivals Hamilton on goal difference ahead of the clash with Aberdeen.
Derek McInnes is under pressure from sections of the Dons support after a shock 4-1 defeat to Ross County last weekend.
Motherwell produced a brilliant performance to win 3-0 last time at Pittodrie but Alexander is under no illusions about the difficulty of the clash, adding: "“It’s a real tough place to go, a real good team and a good manager.
"What we did last weekend won’t win us any points this weekend. We have to restart and make it as difficult as it can be for Aberdeen.
"We have to impact our style of play, which we did especially in the first half last week, and not just focus on the opponent. That pleased me more than anything.

“All we control is the teams performance and try to impact on the opposition. I think the players have done that really well against two tough opponents.
“St Mirren have been on a fantastic run, Rangers are the best team in Scotland and also on an unbelievable run.
"We pushed them all the way and they had to work extremely hard to get a point out of the game which gives us encouragement.
Motherwell are unbeaten in Alexander's first two games as manager. The former Salford City boss is beginning to stamp his identity on the side and he has also made three signings - Liam Kelly, Steven Lawless and Harry Smith.

The 49 year-old manager wants his side to play out from defence and press the opposition high up the pitch when out of possession.
Alexander believes his blueprint for how he wants Motherwell to play was evident last weekend, adding: "I would say that first-half is the template for everything we want to be moving forward regardless of the opposition - bottom, middle or top of the league.
“It’s how we want to play and it’s important that we give our players the confidence that we won’t change too much whoever we play.
“I said in my first couple of days that 85% of our game won’t change. We have to tweak things, not from a defensive aspect but more an attacking one because different teams will have different defensive strategies."

Alexander hopes to have new signing Smith available if he receives clearance after arriving from Northampton Town but he will be without two important players.
He said: “Fingers crossed Harry’s clearance comes through because he will be an addition to the squad. We still haven’t got Liam Grimshaw or Mark O’Hara unfortunately but we don’t have any fresh injuries.
“No {Mark O’Hara’s not going through concussion protocols}. It’s more of a sickness and illness so we will just see how he comes through."
