Aberdeen v Hibs: Who should start for Hibs at Pittodrie after recent results?

Given Hibs have gone unbeaten in their last two matches, there are likely to minimal changes to the team that heads to Aberdeen this weekend.

A penalty shoot-out win against Kilmarnock in the Betfred Cup and a battling draw that saw them become the first team to take points off Celtic this season.

Aberdeen are coming off the back of a heavy defeat at Ibrox - something that Hibs and Paul Heckingbottom know all about, having lost by a similar margin there earlier in the season.

Continuity served Heckingbottom well last season, and it could be the key to helping his side climb the table this time around.

Adam Jackson is the only one likely to drop out after last Saturday, barring any late injuries in training this week.

The centre back had to be withdrawn after suffering a head knock in the first of the Celtic game after colliding with Odsonne Edouard.

He will have been continually assessed all week, although with Ryan Porteous back from suspension following his red card against Killie, the safe and sensible option is to simply swap the former for the latter.

Chris Doidge will likely continue in a lone striking role up front, with his physicality suited to the type of game we're likely to see at Pittodrie.
