Former Aberdeen boss Alex Smith has urged the club to consider signing Conor McGrandles and Jay Fulton.
Smith previously worked with both midfielders during his spell as Falkirk's technical director and believes they would be fine additions to Stephen Glass' squad.
McGrandles, also linked with Hibs, is out of contract at EFL League One side Lincoln City this summer.
Fulton, meanwhile, has fallen out of favour at Swansea City in the Championship, reportedly being told he can leave this month.
Smith reckons it'd be smart business from Glass to make a move for both.
He told the Press and Journal : "I’d have no hesitation in urging Aberdeen to go for Conor McGrandles.
“I’d recommend Conor in a heartbeat. He’s still just 26, is playing every week and has captained his club this season, too.
“As a free agent in the summer, I’m not surprised clubs are looking at him in Scotland and England. He is such a versatile player, he’d be an excellent player for the club."
On Fulton, Smith added: "Jay Fulton is another player I’d recommend the club look at.
“He has played more than 150 games for Swansea, but has found himself out of the team since a new manager came in.
“He’s another very good player and someone who can link up the play and run games. He would be an excellent addition to the club, too.”

Meanwhile, Aberdeen will have to stump £350,000 if they want to sign St Mirren 's Jamie McGrath in January.
The midfielder is out of contract at season's end but Saints will not let him go this month for less than the sum Hibs had rejected late in the summer window.
Any move could hinge on Ryan Hedges, who remains in talks with Blackburn Rovers over a pre-contract.
The Dons had tabled an improved deal for the 26-year-old Welshman but he appears keen to move on.
