Aberdeen transfer latest as Jack Gurr signs but Stephen Glass wants more

Aberdeen boss Stephen Glass is still looking to add to his squad with Jack Gurr signing and a deal for Christian Ramirez of Houston Dynamo getting closer.

A deal has been agreed with Major League Soccer for Ramirez but Dynamo have asked until the end of the month to bring in a replacement first.

Glass hopes to land Ramirez and one or two more signings before the Dons open their Europa Conference League campaign with a clash with with BK Hacken next month.

Scott Brown, Declan Gallagher, Teddy Jenks and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas have also joined up at Pittodrie.

“We will add two or three,” Glass confirmed. “The additions have already come in.

“You see teams adding to their group now but it shouldn’t be forgotten that we have added Scott, Declan, Jay and Teddy.

“That is four already so we have done a good amount of business so far.

“We are still looking to add. In terms of numbers we could have added another five, six or 10 players.

“But we want to make sure we get the right players in who are going to help us. That is important.

“There will be enough of a turnover of people in the building and it was important that that happened.

“It is vitally important that the right personnel and the right quality of player comes in.”

Aberdeen will do all their European preparations at their Cormack Park training ground.

Glass has already said they have a number of pre-season friendlies planned at their training facility to get them ready for their Europa Conference League kick-off.
