But he could be joined by Matty Kennedy, Mikey Devlin and Greg Leigh ahead of Tuesday's Premiership clash with struggling Hamilton Accies.
Curtis Main is still not ready to return from a thigh problem, while Dean Campbell (foot) and Tomas Cerny (knee) also remain on the sidelines.
Accies, meanwhile, remain without Jamie Hamilton and Andy Winter as they continue to self-isolate under Covid-19 protocol.
Kyle Munro, with a suspected broken wrist, and key attacker David Templeton will also miss the trip north to Pittodrie.
The Dons are looking to move up to third in the Premiership and will leapfrog Hibs with a win.
Hamilton, meanwhile, will move off the bottom with victory in the rescheduled clash.
