Former Ayr striker Bruce Anderson has joined Premiership basement boys Hamilton on loan.
The Aberdeen frontman, who spent the first half of the season at Somerset, has linked up with Accies for the rest of the campaign.
The 22-year-old made a blistering start to his United career with a double on debut at Albion Rovers in the Betfred Cup.
But he failed to score in 11 subsequent appearances and the deal, originally agreed for the full season, was cut short by Ayr last month.
Now Anderson will attempt to make an impact by keeping Accies up.

Hamilton boss Brian Reid told his club website: "I’m delighted we’ve finally managed to add Bruce to the squad.
"This is one we’ve been very patient with because we have been interested in Bruce for quite some time.
"Bruce should fit in well with what we’re trying to do here at Hamilton.
"He’s a penalty box striker who will compliment the attacking options we’ve already got, so we’re looking forward to getting him started."
