Aberdeen give Declan Gallagher a warm welcome after summer move

Aberdeen have introduced Motherwell captain Declan Gallagher to his new teammates as he joined them for training at Cormack Park today.

The Pittodrie club snapped Gallagher up on a pre-contract agreement ahead of the Euros, with the Blantyre man moving officially this week.

Gallagher was out of contract at Fir Park in the summer, and the club tried to keep him, but he moved on.

He remained a Motherwell player while on Scotland duty at the Euros, but didn't get on for any of the three games.

In a social media post, Aberdeen said: "Introducing our new number 5.

How Aberdeen welcomed Declan Gallagher (Aberdeen FC)
