Abe 'has not made decision' on Tokyo Games, Trump says

U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday that, during a teleconference with the leaders of the Group of Seven nations, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told the G7 he has not yet decided whether to hold the Olympics and Paralympics as scheduled. Trump also said he will respect Abe's wishes.

"That's a big decision for him. And we don't know what his decision is, but we would live with his decision," Trump said at a White House news conference.

"He has told us that he has not made a decision as to what to do," he added.
