Abdu Rozik demands Hasbulla signs fight contract with handwritten note to rival

Internet star Adbu Rozik has called on rival Hasbulla to sign their fight contract after the pair clashed at UFC 267 last night.

The 18-year-olds have a long-running rivalry which has at times threatened to progress to a boxing or mixed martial arts bout.

Both Rozik and Hasbulla were guests in at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi as 42-year-old Brazilian Glover Teixeira upset light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz in the main event.

During the previous fight, as Petr Yan outpointed Cory Sandhagen, Rozik and Hasbulla had to be restrained during an altercation.

And later, Rozik, dressed in smart pin-striped suit, posed with a hand-written note which was captured by the BT Sport cameras.

"Hasbulla, can you read this? Sign the contract... stop talking so much," the letter read in broken English. "Can you tell me your actual talent or only. Are you following me on Instagram, which is your account??"

Interest in a fight between Hasbulla and Rozik peaked when a press conference and face-off involving the pair went viral.

Chechen MMA fighter Asxab Tamaev was understood to be behind the event which had been due to take place in May.

But the fight never materialised with reports Hasbulla was demanding more than $200,000 to take part.

Both men suffer from a type of dwarfism and their reported bout drew criticism from Russia’s Dwarf Athletic Commission.

“It's not even like a show fight – they get paid a lot of money and it’s a show to make people laugh," a spokesperson said.

"There’s nothing serious about this, this isn’t sport. This is unethical, wrong, from my point of view. It seems to me that only on the one hand it can be correct and beautiful – if martial arts among small people are made a Paralympic sport."

"It could be judo, karate, and people will understand that this is a serious sport, serious performances, and not some kind of laughing show.

"Events like this don’t draw attention to the sport of little people. If interest in this appears, it’s only because a lot of money is being invested in it. And from the point of view of the sports career growth of these guys, there are no prospects."

A fight between the feuding duo was mooted again in August when Tamaev claimed a sponsor had been found for the clash.

The mystery backer was not named however and no further details have been announced.
