Rangers have reportedly sent scouts to watch Netherlands U-21 star Abdou Harroui.
The goalscoring midfielder is part of the young Dutch contingent at the UEFA Euro U-21 Championships this summer.
He's also approaching the final year of his contract with Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam.
And Football Insider report Rangers could look to bring the 23-year-old to Ibrox.
Harroui and the Dutch crashed out of the tournament to Germany in the last four but it's said the Premiership champions cast a keen eye over him throughout the tournament.
Steven Gerrard has also been linked with a move for Heerenveen's Joey Veerman.
Another midfielder, he's believed to be on Atalanta's radar.
In contrast to Harroui, Veerman recently extended his contract until 2024.
Reports in Italy have indicated Atalanta have been first to make a move for the 22-year-old prospect.
Rangers already have Bournemouth midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh and Oostende striker Fashion Sakala joining their ranks this summer.
