ABC's parent company Walt Disney said Friday that ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey is stepping down amid a transition in management, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The details: Dungey oversaw ABC hits such as "Scandal," "black-ish" and "The Good Doctor." Karey Burke, head of programming for Freeform, will succeed Dungey. Disney is teeing up new management next year once the deal closes for 21st Century Fox's entertainment assets, per WSJ.
