This season, all Saturday Night Football games on ABC will begin at 7:30. The earlier time is welcome for Georgia Bulldog fans. ABC announced SEC foe Auburn will open up vs. Oregon in Arlington, Texas on the 31st of August. The next day, on Sunday, Houston will travel to Norman, Oklahoma to face the Oklahoma Sooners in what should be a shootout.
In week 2, on September 7th, the LSU Tigers will travel to Texas. In week 3, the Clemson Tigers travel to Syracuse, the last team not named Alabama to defeat the Tigers.
Before Week 1, the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes will renew their rivalry on August 24th (at 7 p.m.). Football season can’t come soon enough. For more information check out ABC’s press release.
Georgia fans don’t have too much to be upset with, since they open at Vanderbilt and don’t play Notre Dame until the 4th week. A 7:30 kickoff for the Notre Dame game would be awesome for Dawg fans.
