These are the dramatic images emerging from Kilwinning this evening after a fire broke out at Abbey Park.
The former home of Ayrshire football side Kilwinning Rangers was engulfed in flames and smoke shortly after 4pm.
Portable accommodation within the confines of the ground can be seen ablaze in photos supplied by eyewitness Alan Murphy.
A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue told the Irvine Herald one appliance attended the ground and extinguished a fire within portable accomodation.
