ABBA are teasing new music and a potential tour

With discussions about music gigs potentially returning, there's no denying that the legendary ABBA have enough fans, tunes and appeal to sell out any venue around the world.

Right now, fans of the Swedish icons might be saying ' Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!' more music and that appears to be the case, along with a potential tour.

The band have launched a new website called Abbavoyage.com and while details remain sparse, the hint at the word voyage could imply a tour.

The website goes live on September 2 and while there have been plenty of false dawns and empty promises regarding a reunion, it appears that the wheels are finally in motion with regards to new music from ABBA.

Last ABBA’s Benny Andersson said that the group was hoping to release some new music later in 2020 but those plans didn't materialise.

He said: “They’re coming this year. I’m guessing after the summer. But I can only guess because I’m not really sure. But I would think so.”

“One shouldn’t promise anything but if I were to decide myself, it would be September,” before saying: “I can’t make that decision alone. But that’s what we’re aiming for.”

After nearly 40 years apart - a split that frequently saw so many rumours of a reunion and new music on the horizon - it appears that the band will be getting back together.

In a previous interview with Ekstra Bladettabloid (via Variety ), Bjorn Ulvaeus said that at least one of the new songs — which are called 'I Still Have Faith In You' and 'Don’t Shut Me Down' — will be released “in September or October" of 2020.
