Abandoned dog found chained to a fence and covered in blood on Glasgow road

A dog was retrieved by the Scottish SPCA after being found tied up on a Glasgow street corner covered in blood.

The poor pup was discovered attached to a fence on Balmore Road yesterday.

Scotland’s animal welfare charity was alerted to the white dog by a concerned member of the public.

They collected the animal and rushed him to a vet.

“Although the dog was covered in blood, upon examination, he was found to have no wounds or injuries, so the blood was not his.

“After being satisfied he did not need veterinary attention, we handed the dog into the care of Police Scotland.”
