Aaron Wan-Bissaka says Manchester United have no other option but to put things right across their next matches following defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League.
United's poor start to the domestic season continued over the weekend as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side lost 1-0 to Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted the only goal of the game from the penalty spot to hand his side all three points after Paul Pogba had felled Hector Bellerin.
Speaking after the game Wan-Bissaka gave a taste of the mood in the United dressing room and vowed for a response in the Champions League meeting with Istanbul Basaksehir in midweek.
“It’s a disappointing result. To come out on the pitch second half and put all that effort in and not to come out with a result,” he told MUTV.
“We come out every game with the mentality to win and put in a good performance but we’ve got to learn from it and put it right in the next game.”
United have taken just one point from a possible 12 at home in the league this season but have won five from five away from home in all competitions and Wan-Bissaka couldn't pinpoint the reason for their Old Trafford struggles.
He added: “It’s strange we’re winning every game away from home and we can’t get a result at Old Trafford.
“The performance was different [to Leipzig], but as you could see in the second half, we came out with a different mentality and we wanted to create chances. It’s just about taking them.
“Getting clear chances isn’t easy for both sides. It’s just about making them and taking them.”
