Aaron Rodgers, State Farm Part Ways After 12-Year Partnership, per Report

Aaron Rodgers and State Farm officially ended their endorsement partnership together, terminating what was an 12-year relationship, Kurt Badenhausen of Sportico reports. According to Badenhausen, the two sides walked away after the 2022 NFL season, with their final commercial together airing last January.

“We wish Aaron the best in his future endeavors,” a State Farm spokesperson said, via Badenhausen.

State Farm first signed Rodgers to an endorsement deal in 2011, after Rodgers won his first and only Super Bowl with the Packers, and went onto become one of the most famous endorsement pairs in sports. Rodgers became synonymous with State Farm’s Discount Double Check, incorporating his championship belt celebration into both games and commercials.

According to Badenhausen, Rodgers earned around $3 million per year for over a decade from State Farm, which was one of the most valuable endorsement deals among football players.

In 2021, while Rodgers faced backlash over not getting vaccinated against COVID-19, State Farm stood by Rodgers despite not necessarily agreeing with his opinions.

“Aaron Rodgers has been a great ambassador for our company for much of the past decade,” State Farm said in a statement at the time. “We don’t support some of the statements that he has made, but we respect his right to have his own personal point of view.”

While Rodgers is out, State Farm will be fine as the insurance company has an endorsement deal with Patrick Mahomes. The reigning MVP and two-time Super Bowl champion appears in multiple State Farm commercials alongside State Farm character Jake.
