Despite the fact that hosting Jeopardy! is very much NOT like being an MVP quarterback of an NFL team, Aaron Rodgers is doing an amazing job, whether it’s having great interactions with contestants or handling curveballs in Final Jeopardy.
That might be because of his preparation for the two-week role … or it could be due to all the sticky notes on his podium.
On Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers QB gave the world a behind-the-scenes look at the host’s podium, and his version of it is covered in yellow Post-it notes: “SLOW DOWN,” “STAND UP STRAIGHT,” “RELAX [which is underlined],” “ENERGY,” and my favorite, “Don’t pick your nose/butt.”
“And the last one,” he wrote, referring to the nose/butt note, “was just to check if anyone was looking at my podium between games. Turns out, John the stage manager was, and we had a good laugh about it.”
Awesome. You can tell what a thrill this is for Rodgers and he’s doing a heck of a job.
