Aaron Rodgers said he poured himself a big glass of tequila after Packers drafted Jordan Love

The Green Bay Packers surprised just about everyone when they traded up in the first round of the NFL draft last April and picked Utah State quarterback Jordan Love.

One of those who was a bit surprised was current Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, who stated shortly after the pick that he wasn’t “thrilled” by the decision but that he respected the franchise for thinking about the future.

But now we know that Rodgers had another reaction when the pick was made – he poured himself a large glass of tequila and started drinking.

Rodgers opened up about this large drink of booze on Kyle Brandt’s new podcast “10 Questions with Kyle Brandt,” saying he was hoping the team would pick a WR and that he poured himself “four fingers” of tequila to loosen up a bit after his agent texted him the news.
