I know the 2021 Kentucky Derby is behind us, but we’ve got to revisit Aaron Rodgers’ Saturday at Churchill Downs.
Yes, we’ve seen all the jokes about what the Green Bay Packers QB and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers counterpart Tom Brady were wearing. The thing is — Rodgers wore a little nametag on his suit, and that little pin read: “Turd Ferguson.”
It was visible while he was speaking with a TwinSpires reporter, and while he didn’t talk about the drama with the Packers, a lot of people noticed the reference to Jeopardy! (actually, it’s to a classic Saturday Night Live skit sending up Celebrity Jeopardy! from 1999, but the Rodgers-Jeopardy! connection is obviously there).
