Aaron Rodgers passes Fran Tarkenton for 9th place all-time in TD passes

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw the 343rd touchdown pass of his career on Thursday night against the Philadelphia Eagles, passing Hall of Fame quarterback Fran Tarkenton for ninth place in NFL history.

Rodgers led a seven-play, 70-yard scoring drive to close the first half, using a 19-yard touchdown pass to Geronimo Allison to finish the march and move up in the all-time rankings.

Rodgers now only trails Peyton Manning (539), Tom Brady (524), Drew Brees (522), Brett Favre (508), Dan Marino (420), Philip Rivers (379), Ben Roethlisberger (363) and Eli Manning (362).

Rodgers came into Thursday night tied with Tarkenton at 342 touchdown passes.

Rodgers and the Packers trail the Eagles after two quarters, 21-20. Rodgers has completed 16 passes for 241 yards and a touchdown.
