Aaron Rodgers one-upped Patrick Mahomes with a deep no-look pass

Aaron Rodgers may have raised the bar for Patrick Mahomes on no-look passes.

During the Green Bay Packers’ 10-3 win over the Chicago Bears in the NFL season-opener, Rodgers delivered a ridiculous no-look pass that will probably make Mahomes jealous. Rodgers was rolling out of the pocket after getting pressured, and while staring shallow left to move the Bears’ defensive backs and linebackers, the quarterback heaved the ball down the middle of the field to receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling for a 47-yard dime. It was the longest play of the game.

Mahomes had been practicing the no-look pass in training camp after pulling off an absurd demonstration of it last season. Here’s hoping Rodgers’ throw inspires Mahomes to do something even more ridiculous.

Having Mahomes and Rodgers in the league at the same time is just an absurd combination of generational arm-talents.
