Aaron Rodgers on becoming a new meme: ‘The internet is undefeated’

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a pair of touchdown passes to help the Green Bay Packers knock off the previously undefeated Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night. The three-time MVP also became one of the Internet’s latest memes after the FOX broadcast picked up his hilarious reaction to a big hit on his first touchdown pass.

The late hit from Cardinals defensive lineman Jordan Phillips nearly knocked Rodgers’ helmet off his head and created the look.

Rodgers confirmed after the Packers’ 24-21 win that he had seen the picture of his shocked face floating around social media.

“I saw it,” Rodgers said, smiling. “The Internet is undefeated.”

Rodgers still got the last laugh. He threw a touchdown pass to Randall Cobb on the play, and Phillips was flagged for roughing the passer. The Packers, now 7-1, survived a late comeback attempt from Kyler Murray and escaped Arizona with a 24-21 win.
