Aaron Rodgers has plenty to say after stormy offseason

After a summer of silence, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers met the press on Wednesday.

He was interesting and fascinating, which is par for the course.

“I wanted to help the organization, maybe learn from some of the mistakes in the past … and about the way that some of the outgoing veterans were treated,” Rodgers said. “And just the fact that we didn’t retain a number of players that I felt like were core players to our foundation, to our locker room. High-character guys.”

Some of the other comments after a long period, which saw troubled times between Rodgers and the team that selected him in the first round in 2005. And let’s start off with this:
