Even if you were watching the TV broadcast closely, you might have missed Aaron Rodgers’ smirk as the Green Bay Packers closed out their 32-18 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Rodgers, a 16-year veteran, took his spot over center for the final snap, and allowed the slightest show of emotion.
He seemed to look up at the jumbotron before smiling. It likely dawned on him that the Packers would host the NFC Championship at Lambeau Field for the first time in Rodgers’ career. This will be Rodgers’ fifth NFC Championship appearance and his second in two years.
