Aaron Rodgers finds Jimmy Graham for Packers’ first TD of 2019 season

The new offense of the Green Bay Packers just needed a quarter to get warmed up in Chicago on Thursday night.

After a disastrous first quarter that featured two third-down sacks and three punts over the first three drives, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense came alive to start the second quarter, with Rodgers finding veteran tight end Jimmy Graham for the Packers’ first touchdown of the 2019 season.

Graham boxed out Bears safety Deon Bush in the end zone for the 8-yard score. The drive covered 74 yards in just four plays. Rodgers completed all four of his passes for the 74 yards and the score to Graham, who caught only two touchdowns for the Packers last season.

This 47-yard connection between Rodgers and second-year receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling got the Packers on the move and set up the touchdown, which came two plays after the long completion.

The Packers lead the Bears 7-3 in the second quarter at Soldier Field.
