The Chicago Bears were delivered a 24-14 defeat at the hands of the Green Bay Packers. Surprisingly, the game was decided in the fourth quarter. Unsurprisingly, it was Aaron Rodgers who delivered the final blow to Chicago’s hopes of finally defeating Green Bay.
After the Bears trimmed the deficit to 3 points with Justin Fields leading the Bears on a 10-play, 80-yard drive that resulted in a Darnell Mooney touchdown with six minutes left in the game, the Packers responded with an impressive drive of their own.
Green Bay drove 75 yards in 7 plays, which was capped by a 6-yard rushing touchdown by Rodgers. As Rodgers celebrated in the end zone, the broadcast picked up Rodgers shouting to Bears fans: “I still own you!”
To be fair, Rodgers wasn’t telling Bears fans anything they didn’t already know.
When Rodgers was asked about his “I still own you” comment a fans — which surprisingly wasn’t flagged for taunting — he explained it was a sight in the stands that prompted his response.
“Sometimes. you black out on the field — in a good way,” Rodgers said after the game. “I looked up in the stands and in the front row all I saw was a woman giving me the double-bird. So I’m not sure exactly what came out of my mouth next.”

Rodgers improved to 21-5 against the Bears, which doesn’t include Green Bay’s postseason win over Chicago in 2010. Rodgers has said Soldier Field is his favorite place to play on the road, and his 11-3 record there shows it.
