Have you ever been enjoying yourself at a sporting event when you start seeing something trying to get started on the other side of the stadium?
Like, you can see fans trying to work together to accomplish something that they desperately think needs to be accomplished?
I’m talking, of course, about the dreaded wave. One moment you’re enjoying a game and maybe a cold one and the next you have everyone in your section standing up in unison and raising their arms up in the air in a moment of forced glee.
In this world you’re either pro wave, or against it. And it looks like Aaron Rodgers is on the right side of this debate, as he made a simple request to Packers fans before Sunday’s home opener at Lambeau:
Let’s take it a step further and just say never do the wave ever.
It’s time for that dumb thing to be retired.
