Aaron Rodgers discusses his ‘Game of Thrones’ cameo, and it’s not what fans all thought it was

WARNING: GAME OF THRONES SPOILERS AHEAD!

Green Bay Packers quarterback and Game of Thrones die-hard Aaron Rodgers teased his cameo leading up to the fifth and penultimate episode of the HBO fantasy series. And when it actually happened, fans thought they spotted him either getting blown to smithereens by dragon fire or lining up as a Lannister soldier.

It would appear everyone was wrong, although I still haven’t found the video proof to confirm it.

In a post-episode special video, Rodgers revealed he played somone “helping a woman who was injured, sat her down and then, the hell with her, I’m getting out of there.”

Rodgers also posted about the cameo on Instagram:

Hmmmm! Maybe it’s time for me to rewatch all the chaos of the scenes at King’s Landing, but spotting him is going to be extremely tough with all the countless people running from Dany and her dragon.
