Aaron Rodgers confident about beating Bears at Soldier Field

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is feeling confident heading into Thursday’s NFL kickoff against the Chicago Bears.

Rodgers has plenty of reasons to be confident about his ability to beat the Bears over the years, especially in Chicago.

Rodgers has been a “Bear-killer” throughout his career, winning 16 of 21 games he’s started against Chicago and throwing for 45 touchdowns and just 10 interceptions.

Last season felt like a turn of the tide as the Bears split the season series in 2018, including a home victory that locked up an NFC North title. They were one improbable Rodgers comeback away from sweeping their divisional rivals to the north.

The last time Rodgers faced the Bears was in Week 15 at Soldier Field, where he was continuously pressured by Chicago’s vaunted defense.

He was sacked five times, picked off once and held without a touchdown, which resulted in a 68.9 passer rating.

Chicago is hoping for a repeat performance when they host the Packers on Thursday at Soldier Field.
