Aaron Ramsey transfer prediction could come true if Edu decides to complete £8.6m Arsenal deal

Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey's future is a hot topic at the moment.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the former Arsenal star will be put up for sale this summer by the Serie A giants and interestingly a return to the Emirates Stadium could be on the cards.

"Aaron Ramsey would love to join Arsenal again. At Juventus he is struggling, he's not playing, many injuries," Romano told The Arsenal Lounge. "He will be on the market 100 percent, he will be available, if Arsenal want to go for Ramsey, they know they have the chance.

"But at the moment there's nothing advanced or serious with Ramsey yet."

It remains to be seen if the Gunners would be interested in re-signing Ramsey whose estimated transfer value - via the CIES Football Observatory - is €10million (£8.6m).

But if manager Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu do end up deciding to pursue a deal to bring the Welshman back to north London, then a certain Mr. Robert Pires will have been proved right.

Earlier in the year, the former Gunners no.7 predicted that Ramsey would eventually re-join Arsenal.

"He is very intelligent and knows how to adapt everywhere, Juve is a very big club and Serie A is improving him even more," Pires told TuttoJuve.

"He needs to stay a few more years and then he will return to Arsenal. It is my belief, I am not a fortune teller."

Pires also stated that Ramsey would be a perfect addition to Arteta's midfield.

"Aaron would be perfect in Mikel Arteta's game system, but he belongs to Juve and he has to stay focused on the Old Lady to win trophies," the Frenchman added.

"This year he has already won one (the Italian Super Cup), I hope it's just the first in a long line. He is doing well, so I am satisfied."

Ramsey is under contract with Juve until 2023 and in 22 Serie A appearances this season has scored twice and assisted five.

Although, it has been a disappointing season for The Old Lady under Andrea Pirlo.

Juventus could miss out on Champions League football for next season as they must beat Bologna on the final day of the current campaign and hope results elsewhere go in their favour.
