Aaron Ramsey tells Wojciech Szczesny the difference between Arsenal and Juventus after transfer

Aaron Ramsey has opened up on the differences between the Premier League and Serie A after his move to Italy in the summer.

The 29-year-old left the Emirates for Turin on a free transfer following 11 seasons at Arsenal.

Ramsey officially joined Juventus on a four-year deal in July, having already put pen-to-paper in February.

The 29-year-old has enjoyed a mixed start to his career in Turin, after injury disrupted his pre-season preparations.

Ramsey started in Juve's last three league matches and scored in two of them - including the 2-0 home win over Inter Milan, which opened up a nine-point lead at the top of the table before Serie A side was suspended due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

And now Ramsey has opened up on the differences between the two leagues.

“No, for me it is a lot more demanding,” he told current Juve teammate Wojciech Szczesny on the Foot Trick show when asked about the difference between the Premier League and Serie A.

“It is a lot more physically demanding. End to end so there is a lot more space.

“Here it is a lot more tactical. Teams are a lot tougher to break down. Teams sit a lot deeper and then try to play on the counter-attack.

“So yeah, tactically you have to be a lot stronger in this league.”
