Aaron Ramsey previously hinted that Arsene Wenger was accommodating when it came to indulging Mesut Ozil's requests.
The German midfielder has been ostracised in recent months with The Mail claiming that the Gunners are in talks to terminate his £350,000-a-week contract, which expires at the end of the season.
Despite being linked with move to Turkey or the USA in January, it is thought that Ozil is ready to see out his contract in north London, with no clubs interested in matching his huge wages.
Ozil has not been included in any matchday squads this campaign, with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta keeping tight lipped as to the reason behind his omission.
Arteta did however, admit that all players had to buy into his ethos and outlined his "non-negotiable" demands.
“I think it goes both ways,” Arteta said in February. “The team cannot have the right structure to support him if he doesn’t do some of those non-negotiables.
“If he does them, then the team can afford to have someone like him to make the difference.
"In some moments, he has come very close to what I would like to see from him on the pitch.”
Arteta's unrelenting demands appear to be at odds with Ramsey's explanation about Ozil's treatment in the past under Wenger, with the now Juventus midfielder claiming that the German was often indulged by the former Arsenal manager, especially when it came to extra days off.
"Probably Mesut [Ozil]," Ramsey told the official Arsenal YouTube channel in 2016, when asked to name which of his teammates was the 'teacher's pet'.
"He gets a few extra days off than the rest of us.
"He’s always in the boss’ [Arsene Wenger] room asking for something or whatever and he seems to get it."
