Aaron Ramsey's Juventus future takes fresh twist amid Tottenham transfer links

Former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey has been regularly linked with a return to the Premier League since his move to Juventus.

Ramsey left the Gunners for free to join Juventus in 2019, but despite enjoying steady form in Italy, he has regularly been tipped to return to the Premier League.

Arsenal have rarely been linked in such transfer speculation, but north London rivals Tottenham have, and on the face of it, that seems like a very unlikely move for a player who spent 11 years with Arsenal.

And it's even more unlikely given Ramsey is very likely to stay at Juventus beyond this summer, or at least according to the latest transfer reports.

The Athletic claim that Ramsey is 'happy at Juventus' and that, as far as he is concerned, the Old Lady have no plans to sell him this summer.

Reports have claimed Juventus could look to cash in with Ramsey now 30 and still likely to be worth around £20million, but it seems that is not the case.

The Welshman has already won a Serie A title at Juventus, though he won't add to his trophy collection this season with Inter Milan looking set to take Serie A.

This season, Ramsey has been a semi-regular in Turin, missing seven league games through injury and making 20 appearances in league competition, starting 12.

The 30-year-old has also made seven Champions League appearances and has managed two goals and five assists across all competitions so far this term.

Those statistics are hardly eye-catching, but it still seems as though Ramsey is part of Juventus' plans, and who can blame them? The Italians barely have anything to lose by keeping the Welshman around having snapped him up for free.
