Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey will leave the club this month, with Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace all having been linked with a move for the player.
The Wales playmaker was rumoured to be leaving Turin in the summer, however he remained with the club in a bid to force his way back into the starting lineup on a regular basis.
But Ramsey has played only five times for the Serie A club this term, prompting many to believe a return to the Premier League was on the cards.
Now, Allegri has confirmed the 31-year-old will leave the Italian outfit this month.
“Ramsey is back after he left for some work in a different manner in England," Allegri said.
“However, he is an outgoing player."
Ramsey has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs in recent weeks in the lead-up to the January transfer window.
Newcastle United, who seem likely for a busy transfer window, have been strongly linked with a move, while Italian outlet Sport Mediaset have claimed that Aston Villa have also taken an interest.
Sky Sport Italia, via Football Italia, have claimed that Burnley made a formal offer for Ramsey, but the player rejected their proposal.
However, the bookmakers' current favourites to land the midfielder is Crystal Palace, who are currently assistant managed by former Wales assistant Osian Roberts.
