Aaron Ramsey 'passes' Rangers medical as Juventus star edges closer to bombshell Ibrox transfer

Incoming Aaron Ramsey has passed his medical at Rangers with a deadline deal move edging closer, according to reports in Italy.

The Juventus playmaker in a blockbuster move for the Premiership leaders and he is in Glasgow finalising the details of the move.

The 31-year-old has struggled for game time in Turin and has been hampered by injuries since leaving Arsenal in 2019.

But he has been back to fitness again this term despite making just five appearances for the Serie A giants, with his last game for the Italian side coming in October.

He has not played for his club since a late substitute appearance against Zenit in the Champions League but is desperate to get game time in his dream of playing for Wales at this upcoming winter’s World Cup.

His last competitive clash came for Wales, when he netted twice in the group stage clash against Belarus in November.

Goal Italia expect the final details to be ironed out in the coming hours after Ramsey passed his Rangers medical ahead of the monumental transfer.

He has opted for a title tilt with Gio van Bronckhorst 's despite interest from the English Premier League, with sides such as Newcastle and Aston Villa missing out.
