Aaron Ramsey linked with Manchester United move in Paul Pogba Juventus swap deal

Juventus are ready to offer Wales star Aaron Ramsey to Manchester United as part of a deal to land Paul Pogba, claim reports in Italy.

The World Cup winning Frenchman has been linked for some time with a move away from Old Trafford and Italian newspaper Tuttosport report Juve have drawn up plans of how to get their man.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to keep hold of his star midfielder, but could find the cash plus players offer being put on the table by the Italian champions tempting.

Tuttosport reckon Ramsey and Bosnian team-mate Miralem Pjanic - who have each interested United previously - could be offered as part of a swap package.

Porgba's French colleague Adrien Rabiot, another Juventus midfielder, is also mentioned as a possibility for an Old Trafford switch.

Ramsey and Rabiot were signed as free agents, meaning Juventus are not mindful of recouping a specific fee for the midfielders, according to Tuttosport.

Ramsey joined Juventus in the summer on a £400,000-a-week contract that runs to 2023. But there have been reports that the Italian club are ready to let their biggest wage earners leave to cope with the financial crisis currently being caused, with Ramsey and Cristiano Ronaldo two of the players mentioned.

How that would tie up with any swoop for Pogba, whose wages presumably would not come cheap, remains to be seen.

Ramsey has been linked with United before and ex-Ireland star Tony Cascarino feels he is perfect for Solskjaer's side and would dovetail brilliantly with new midfield hit Bruno Fernandes.

"He is the sort of player they need — a proven midfielder with goalscoring pedigree and plenty of Premier League experience," he said.
