Arsenal were left sweating on the fitness of Aaron Ramsey after the Welsh midfielder was forced off during the first half of their Europa League clash with Napoli.
Ramsey went down shortly after the half-hour mark in the second leg of the Gunners’ quarter-final with what appeared to be a hamstring problem, and has to be replaced by Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan,
If the injury is serious, Arsenal could be without one of their star players for crucial Premier League games as they look to secure Champions League qualification via a top-four finish.
With Ramsey already confirmed to be leaving the club at the end of the season for Italian giants Juventus, there will even be concerns as to whether he has played his last game for the club.
Unai Emery’s men host Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday, before travelling to Molineux to face Wolves next Wednesday.
