Aaron Ramsey has already given his verdict on Tottenham transfer amid Juventus exit talk

Tottenham have been linked with a shock move for former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

Ramsey is said to be attracting interest from a number of teams around Europe having impressed since joining Juventus on a free transfer following the expiry of his Arsenal deal in 2019.

The Welshman has been a regular at Juventus, making 14 Serie A appearances, including nine starts, but according to TuttoJuve, the Seria A giants want to offload the midfielder after this season.

And that is said to have sparked interest around Europe, including from Tottenham, which may well grab the attention of Arsenal fans, who hold Ramsey close to their hearts.

Does David Luiz have a future at Arsenal?

The 30-year-old spent 11 years at Arsenal in all, proving to be one of Arsene Wenger 's most inspired signings at just £4.8million.

But would he upset the Gunners fans by signing for Tottenham? Most likely not.

When asked in October 2018 if he would consider signing for Tottenham, Ramsey simply responded 'no', even with uncertainty surrounding his Arsenal deal at the time.

He added at the time: “I’m not thinking about anything else apart from playing for Arsenal at the moment so we will see what the future holds further down the line.

“I’m going out and playing the way I have always played. I try to give my best for the team, help the team and try and go out there and play the best I can for myself as well.

“Nothing’s in my head when I’m out there, I’m just trying to have fun on the football pitch.”

As it turned out, Ramsey was allowed to leave for free, an opportunity he took by joining Juventus, and he already has a Serie A title under his belt.

Though, if reports are to be believed, he could find himself on the lookout for a new club again this summer and Arsenal fans will be hoping their former midfielder sticks to his word if indeed Tottenham do make a move.
