Aaron Ramsey is expected to be available for Arsenal’s Europa League quarter-final, first-leg against Napoli at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.

The Wales midfielder was only fit enough to play the second half of Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at Everton due to a groin problem.

Laurent Koscielny (foot) and Granit Xhaka (groin) face fitness tests having also both missed out at the weekend.

Xhaka has not returned since the international break, where he suffered a groin injury while playing for Switzerland.

“I don’t know, Koscielny had to come back today, but yesterday we knew it wasn’t possible,” Emery said following that defeat on Merseyside.

“I want to be positive for Thursday, but it depends on how he recovers. For Xhaka it is the same thing, he is a doubt for Thursday.”

Napoli meanwhile have Lorenzo Insigne available once again after the Italy international returned to the first-team squad on Saturday after a spell out through injury.
