Aaron Ramsdale reveals his brilliant Arsenal initiation song after completing £24m transfer

Arsenal signed six new players during the summer transfer window.

Manager Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu went with the approach of targeting players under the age of 24, hence permanent deals for Aaron Ramsdale, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben White, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Martin Odegaard.

And all six were on the pitch at the final whistle following the 3-1 North London Derby win over Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

However, a first taste of the derby - aside for Odegaard - wasn't the most daunting task for Ramsdale in particular following his £24m move from Sheffield United to Arsenal in August.

As with any new arrival at any club, there's always an initiation for players to undergo, which usually includes them having to perform a song of their choice in front of their new teammates.

Thanks to social media, these are usually released on Twitter or Instagram to treat fans to a viewing of any performances. This hasn't been the case with Ramsdale just yet, but he's revealed what he performed for his initiation song.

During an 'Ask Me Anything' session on the Arsenal twitch account, the goalkeeper revealed that he sang the theme tune of the popular American sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' paying homage to actor Will Smith.

Unfortunately, footage of Ramsdale's brilliant choice has not been made available.

Although it could - but only on one condition.

Ramsdale also revealed that Bukayo Saka recorded the performance on his phone, so the Arsenal winger holds all the power and can upload it to social media at any time.

But the goalkeeper has vowed to erase the footage before his teammate gets the chance to do so.
