Aaron Nesmith: ‘I did a better job of becoming a more multi-dimensional player’ in Las Vegas Summer League

Boston Celtics second-year small forward Aaron Nesmith had an outstanding run in his first Las Vegas Summer League play, leading the Boston Celtics in scoring and helping to carry the team to the (usually) annual Sin City exhibition series title game.

And while the Celtics ultimately ended up coming up short, falling to the undefeated summer Sacramento Kings 100 – 67, Nesmith related that he felt the experience was still largely a positive one. “I did a better job of becoming a more multi-dimensional player, moving the ball, putting the ball on the floor, finding open teammates, taking confident shots,” he related after the loss.

The Kings’ vaunted defense in summer league play lived up to its reputation, which the Vanderbilt product acknowledged; “I think as a whole team, they did a good job of speeding us up.”
