Hamilton have signed former Southampton defender Aaron Martin ahead of tomorrow’s trip to table-topping Rangers.
Accies have agreed a deal with the 31-year-old for the rest of the season.
Head coach Brian Rice has now brought in Nathan Thomas and Martin this week.
Rice moved in the transfer market after a string of injuries to a number of key players, like Charlie Trafford, Kyle Munro, Jamie Hamilton and David Templeton.
Martin is a free agent since he left Exeter City in the summer.
The centre half’s release from Exeter didn’t go down well with their fans.
The Englishman had offers from England but has decided he wanted to play in the Scottish Premiership with Accies.
He came through the ranks at Eastleigh before he moved on to have five years at Southampton, where he had a loan spell at Crystal Palace.
The experienced centre half has also had spells at Birmingham City, Oxford, Yeovil and Coventry.
