Sky Sports' Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio claim the Serie A club made fresh contact with Hickey's camp and are going 'above and beyond' in a bid to push a deal closer.

He said: "The player has already visited Bologna's training ground, but the Emiliani face strong competition from Bayern Munich.
